Welcome!

Art Bridges invites hospital art curators to a one‑day symposium exploring the opportunities and challenges of curating in hospital and healthcare settings. Hosted at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas — adjacent to the Heartland Whole Health Institute and within walking distance to the newly opened Alice L. Walton School of Medicine — the symposium will bring together leaders working at the intersection of art, health, and community well‑being to share different perspectives and practices.

Art Bridges is grounded in the belief that engagement with art can positively impact individual and community health. This event is an opportunity for attendees to learn from peers; exchange ideas; consider how art can meaningfully support patients, families, and healthcare workers; and share short presentations about the collection and/or arts in health programs at their hospitals.

Art Bridges will cover airfare, two nights of hotel accommodations (August 19–20, 2026), ground transportation, and meals during the symposium. Please bookmark this page as your central source for event information. Updates and important details will be added here as they become available.
